</p><p>Er war der Nachfolger von <a href="Butilin" title="Butilin">Butilin</a>. Sein Nachfolger als Herzog wurde <a href="Vaefar" title="Vaefar">Vaefar</a>.

</p><p>Magnachar war der Vater von Marcatrud, die vor 561 <a href="Guntchramn" class="mw-redirect" title="Guntchramn">Guntchramn</a>, <a href="Franken_(Volk)" title="Franken (Volk)">fränkischer</a> König in <a href="Orl%C3%A9ans" title="Orléans">Orléans</a>, heiratete.
